The KS2 SATs Confidence Boosters are tailored for students who need extra support to feel prepared and confident in their Maths abilities. Designed and led by an experienced primary teacher, these online sessions focus on key areas of arithmetic, reasoning, and exam techniques, helping children overcome challenges and approach their exams with self-assurance. This class is ideal for KS2 students who: - Struggle with certain maths topics and need additional practice. -Lack confidence in their abilities and feel anxious about SATs. -Would benefit from expert guidance in a small, supportive group setting. What to expect: -Arithmetic understanding: Clear, step-by-step guidance to build accuracy and speed in calculations. -Reasoning Skills: Strategies to solve multi-step problems, interpret tricky questions, and apply logic. -Exam Techniques: Tips on managing time effectively, understanding question formats, and reducing errors. -Confidence Building: Activities designed to reinforce strengths, celebrate progress, and foster a positive mindset. - Taught by an expert teacher: qualified primary teacher with extensive experience tutoring children through KS2 SATs, including working with neurodiverse learners. - Small Groups: Each session has no more than five students, allowing for personalised attention and a supportive learning environment. - Tailored Resources: Students receive worksheets, practice papers, and access to interactive tools to enhance their learning. - Focused Approach: The sessions aim to help students gain clarity on challenging topics and feel empowered to perform their best. Class Details Schedule: Fridays at 6 PM, starting 24th January. Delivery Method: Online via Zoom, with interactive features to engage students.
